I want to establish SSO between sap ep and ECC system. I have lakhs of users in portal UME but in the backend system(ECC) I don't want to create one user per UME user. Instead I want to have one single user in ECC and all the UME users must be mapped to that specific user in the backend system. I did not mapping, but it does not seem to work. The logon method property of system object is set to UIDPW. Please find attached the screen shot of user mapping screen and also the page that is displayed when a backend application is run.
during user mapping, the password is blanked out when clicked on save button.
